Drifting City is founded on the idea that one can be in two places at the same time. Its aim is to creatively explore the site-specific consequences of this position, in Architecture, Media, and Public Space. Drifting City is two hyper-linked studios, working in Greece and California, sharing divergent expertize, scholarship and craftsmanship. Located in two similar basins, along two dissimilar edges, Drifting City is motivated by the juxtaposition and confluence of place: just before departure, right after arrival.
